Unlike compressed-air nebulizers which atomise medication for delivery into the lower airways, the SI-40 generates warm steam through evaporation of saline solutions or essential oils, providing moist warmth that can help ease nasal congestion, dryness, and upper respiratory discomfort.

The device operates at a whisper-quiet level, making it suitable for home use without disruption. Steam output can be adjusted via a slider — with average particle sizes of 11.75 μm at the lower setting and 13.12 μm at the higher setting — tailoring the treatment intensity to personal preference. Usage Instructions

1. Place the SI-40 on a stable, flat surface at a comfortable height — a table or bedside surface at face level is ideal.
2. Fill the water chamber with the recommended volume of water or saline solution. Do not overfill. Use only distilled or demineralised water unless your instruction manual specifies otherwise.
3. If using essential oils, add only the recommended number of drops as per the instruction manual. Do not use concentrated oils without dilution.
4. Attach the flexible mask securely over your nose and mouth, or position the vaporizer so the steam reaches your face at a comfortable distance.
5. Connect the mains cable and press the power button to switch on. The LED indicator will illuminate.
6. Adjust the steam slider to your preferred output level.
7. Breathe gently and normally through the nose and mouth during the session. Keep your eyes closed while the mask is in use.
8. A typical session lasts 10–15 minutes or until the water chamber is empty. Switch off manually when finished — the SI-40 does not have automatic switch-off.
9. Unplug and allow to cool before cleaning or refilling.

• Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or bleach on any component.
• The SI-40 cannot be disinfected with standard disinfectants — clean with water only as specified in the instruction manual.
• Descale the water chamber regularly if using tap water, following the guidance in the instruction manual. Limescale build-up reduces efficiency and can damage the heating element.
