The Beurer BM-55 combines the sleek design features of the BM-58 — illuminated XL display and touch sensor buttons — with an important upgrade: a universal cuff (22–42 cm) and a patented resting indicator using Beurer’s HSD (Haemodynamic Stability Detector) technology. The resting indicator checks whether the user’s circulatory system was sufficiently stable during measurement — one of the most common sources of inaccuracy in home blood pressure monitoring — and flags readings that may have been taken before haemodynamic stability was reached.
USB connectivity enables data transfer to the free Beurer HealthManager Pro PC software for detailed long-term analysis. Arrhythmia detection, colour-coded risk classification, average value calculation, and 7-day morning/evening averaging complete the clinical feature set. Two user memories each store 60 readings (120 total). Storage bag, USB cable, and batteries included.

Usage Instructions
- Install batteries. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.
- Wrap the universal cuff around your upper left arm, 1–2 cm above the elbow.
- Rest your arm at heart level. Touch the START sensor to initiate automatic measurement.
- The resting indicator checks haemodynamic stability. Results appear on the illuminated XL display with colour-coded risk classification.
- Connect via USB to transfer data to the Beurer HealthManager Pro PC software.

How does the BM-55 differ from the BM-58?
The BM-55 and BM-58 share the same touch sensor buttons, USB data transfer, and 2×60 memory. The BM-55 adds a patented resting indicator (HSD technology) and a universal 22–42 cm cuff — the BM-58’s standard cuff only covers 22–30 cm (requiring a separately purchased XL cuff for larger arms). Does the BM-55 connect to a smartphone app?
