Usage Instructions

1. Power on the FT-100. Select body, surface, or room temperature mode as required.
2. For body temperature: point the sensor at the centre of the forehead. Hold at approximately 4–6 cm — the distance sensor LED will indicate when you are at the correct distance.
3. Press the measurement button. An acoustic signal confirms when the reading is complete.
4. The temperature appears on the XL display. Check the LED colour alarm: green (normal), yellow (mildly elevated), red (fever).
5. For surface or room temperature: point toward the surface or into the room and press to measure — no distance restriction applies for these modes.
6. The device powers off automatically after use. Results are stored in memory for the last 60 body temperature readings.

Warnings and Precautions

• For body temperature measurement, always use the forehead mode and maintain the correct 4–6 cm distance guided by the distance sensor — incorrect distance will affect accuracy.
• Do not measure through hair, hats, sweat, or creams on the forehead — wipe and dry the skin first.
