The Beurer HD-75 Cosy is a heated overblanket designed to provide comfortable, controllable warmth on the sofa, in bed, or anywhere you want to relax without heating the entire room. Made from soft polyester velour with a cuddly, luxurious faux fur look, it is just as enjoyable to use without the heat function as a conventional throw blanket — and transforms into a powerful personal heating device the moment warmth is needed.

Six temperature settings allow precise control over heat level, selected via the removable electric hand switch using a sliding mechanism. The Beurer Safety System (BSS) monitors temperature continuously, and the automatic switch-off activates after 3 hours of continuous use for safe, unattended relaxation sessions. The blanket is vapour-permeable for comfortable use against the skin during extended periods. The polyester velour material is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified — tested for harmful substances and confirmed skin-friendly. Usage Instructions

1. Unfold the blanket fully and lay it flat or drape it over your body as desired.
2. Ensure the hand switch is connected to the blanket’s cable socket. Connect the mains cable to a power outlet (Euro plug, 2.3 m cord).
3. Use the sliding hand switch to select your preferred temperature setting (1 = lowest, 6 = highest). The blanket will begin warming gradually.
4. Adjust the temperature up or down using the sliding switch at any time during use.
5. The blanket will switch off automatically after approximately 3 hours of continuous use. You can also switch off manually by sliding the control to the off position at any time.
6. After use, unplug from the mains and allow the blanket to cool before folding and storing.

Care Instructions

• Before washing: Remove the hand switch completely by unplugging it from the cable socket on the blanket. Never wash the hand switch.
• Machine-wash the blanket at 30°C on a gentle or woolens cycle. Use mild detergent.
• Do not tumble dry, wring, iron, or bleach.
• Air dry flat or hanging. Do not use a dryer.
• Only reconnect the hand switch after the blanket is completely dry.
• Wipe the hand switch with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth only. Do not allow it to contact water.
• Store loosely folded in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Warnings and Precautions

• Do not fold, bunch, or compress the blanket while in use — folded heating elements can cause hot spots and potential burns.
• Do not use the blanket on a bed with the user lying on top of it — the HD-75 is designed for use as a throw (on top of the body), not as an underblanket.
• Do not use if you have impaired heat sensitivity — risk of burns without adequate pain feedback.
• Consult a healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant, have circulatory disorders, diabetes, or take medication affecting heat sensitivity.
• The automatic switch-off activates after 3 hours but burns can still occur within that period if the blanket is compressed or folded during use.
• Do not use near water or in damp conditions.
• Inspect the cable and blanket before each use. Do not use if the cable, switch, or heating elements appear damaged.
• Do not attempt to repair the blanket yourself — contact Beurer service.
