Using micro-fine ultrasonic atomisation technology — which converts water into microscopic droplets using high-frequency oscillations rather than heat — the LB-45 produces a cool, fine mist that disperses evenly through the room. Two independently adjustable 360° misting nozzles allow the mist direction to be aimed at different angles simultaneously, distributing humidity more evenly across the room. Usage Instructions

1. Place the LB-45 on a stable, flat, waterproof surface. Do not place directly on wooden furniture or carpet without a protective mat underneath, as moisture from the mist can settle nearby.
2. Remove the water tank, fill with clean water up to the maximum fill line, and replace securely. Insert the anti-limescale filter if not already installed as directed in the instruction manual.
3. If using aroma oils, add 1–2 drops of a water-soluble aroma oil to the water in the tank. Use only aroma oils specifically formulated for ultrasonic humidifiers.
4. Connect the mains cable to a power outlet (Euro plug).
5. Adjust the misting nozzles to direct the mist toward the centre of the room or the desired direction.
6. Turn the control dial to start operation. Adjust to the desired output level — turn toward maximum for higher output, toward minimum for gentle misting.
7. The LED indicator will illuminate when the device is running. The device will switch off automatically when the tank empties.
8. Refill the tank when the colour-coded water level gauge indicates low water.
9. Switch off using the control dial and unplug after each session if preferred, or allow to operate until the tank is empty and the auto switch-off activates.

Care and Maintenance Instructions

• Empty and rinse the water tank with clean water after every 1–2 days of use. Do not allow water to stand in the tank for extended periods.
• Wipe the interior of the water tank and the base unit with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Replace the anti-limescale filter approximately every 3 months, or more frequently in areas with hard water. Replacement filters are available separately from Beurer.
• The ultrasonic membrane at the base of the water reservoir should be cleaned periodically with a cotton swab to remove mineral deposits. Follow the instruction manual for detailed cleaning guidance.
• Do not submerge the main device body in water — only the removable tank is designed for water contact.
• Store in a dry location when not in use. Empty the tank fully before storage.

Warnings and Precautions

• Use only water-soluble aroma oils specifically formulated for ultrasonic humidifiers. Standard essential oils can damage the ultrasonic membrane and leave residue in the tank.
• Do not use tap water in areas with very hard water without the anti-limescale filter installed — mineral deposits will rapidly foul the ultrasonic membrane. Distilled water significantly reduces maintenance frequency.
• Do not place near walls, wooden furniture, or electronic devices — cool mist can cause condensation on nearby surfaces. Maintain a clearance of at least 50 cm from walls and furniture.
• The LB-45 does not have a built-in hygrostat. Monitor room humidity with a separate hygrometer to avoid over-humidification (above 60%), which can promote mould growth.
• Do not use near open flames or heat sources.
• Keep out of reach of children during operation.
• Do not block the mist outlet during operation.
• Always empty the tank and store the device dry when not in use for extended periods to prevent bacterial growth in standing water.
