Usage Instructions

1. Before first use, check the blanket and cable for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
2. Place the blanket on the mattress with the connector at the pillow end. Leave space for the pillow at the top.
3. Fasten the blanket to the mattress using the ties provided. Ensure it lies flat and will not rumple up during use.
4. Lay a bed sheet over the blanket.
5. Attach the controller to the blanket connector. Connect the mains cable.
6. Set the slider to temperature setting 1, 2, or 3. The selected setting will illuminate.
7. For best results, switch on approximately 30 minutes before going to bed and cover with a duvet or quilt to retain warmth.
8. The blanket does not have automatic switch-off — switch off manually by returning the slider to the “0” (OFF) position when finished. The temperature settings will no longer be illuminated when off.
9. Disconnect the controller from the mains and remove it from the blanket before sleeping if preferred.
10. Do not allow the controller to lie on or be covered by pillows or duvets during use.

Care Instructions

• Before washing: Always detach and remove the controller and cable from the blanket. Never wash the controller.
• Machine-wash at 30°C on a particularly gentle woolens cycle. Use a mild detergent at the dosage specified by the detergent manufacturer.
• The blanket can be tumble dried on the lowest heat setting if needed.
• Do not wash and dry more than 5 times over the product’s lifespan — excessive washing shortens the product’s useful life.
• While still slightly damp after washing, reshape the blanket to its original dimensions and lay flat on a drying rack to finish air-drying.
• Do not iron the blanket.
• Only reconnect the controller after the blanket is completely dry.
• To remove stains, use a damp cloth and mild cleaning agent on the affected area before machine washing.
• Clean the controller with a dry, lint-free cloth only. Never allow the controller to come into contact with water.
• When not in use, store the blanket in its original packaging after detaching the controller.

Warnings and Precautions

• Do not fold or bunch the blanket during use — always spread it completely flat on the mattress.
• The BSS safety system will switch off the blanket in the event of a fault. If this occurs, the temperature settings will not illuminate even when the slider is switched on — do not reconnect a defective blanket to another controller of the same type. Send to Beurer service for repair.
• Do not use under a mattress topper or another electrical heating product simultaneously.
• Do not allow the controller to rest on or be covered by bedding, pillows, or duvets during use — it must remain uncovered and accessible.
• Do not use if the blanket, cable, or controller shows signs of damage, wear, or overheating.
• Consult a healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant, diabetic, or have circulatory disorders or impaired heat sensitivity.
• Not suitable for use with waterbeds or adjustable beds unless confirmed compatible.
• Do not use on an already-warm mattress topper or memory foam mattress that retains heat significantly without medical guidance.
• Not intended for unsupervised use by young children or individuals who cannot regulate their own temperature normally.
• Switch off and unplug when leaving the bed for extended periods.
