The Certeza BM-400 is a feature-rich automatic upper arm blood pressure monitor that balances advanced monitoring capability with an attractive, modern design and simple one-touch operation. Using the oscillometric method with measurement during inflation — detecting blood pressure as the cuff pressurises rather than deflates — it delivers faster, more comfortable measurement sessions.

The BM-400 measures blood pressure in the range of 60–230 mmHg and pulse rate at 40–170 bpm. It stores 120 readings split between two users (60 per user) with date and time stamps, and automatically calculates the average of the last 3 readings. Advanced indicators include hypertension risk indication, irregular heartbeat detection, and movement error alerts. A USB-C port allows optional mains-powered operation (5V 1A adapter, sold separately) alongside the standard 3 × AA batteries (included).

Usage Instructions

1. Install 3 × AA batteries. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.
2. Wrap the cuff around your upper left arm, 1–2 cm above the elbow. Ensure the cuff tubing runs down the inside of the arm.
3. Rest your arm on a flat surface at heart level, palm facing upward. Sit upright.
4. Press the START button once. The cuff inflates and measures automatically during inflation.
5. Remain still and do not talk during measurement. Results appear on the display.
6. Check indicators alongside the reading. Press MEMORY to review stored averages.
7. Measure at the same time each day for consistent trend data.
