The Certeza BM-404 is a fully automatic upper arm blood pressure monitor designed for accurate, comfortable home monitoring. Using the oscillometric measurement method, it detects blood movement through the brachial artery and converts it into a precise digital reading — covering a blood pressure range of 57–255 mmHg and pulse rate of 40–199 bpm.

Usage Instructions

1. Sit quietly for at least 5 minutes before measuring. Sit upright in a chair with your feet flat on the floor.
2. Wrap the cuff around your left upper arm, approximately 1–2 cm above the elbow. The cuff tubing should run down the inside of the arm.
3. Rest your arm on a flat surface at heart level, palm facing upward.
4. Press the START button once. The device will inflate and measure automatically.
5. Do not talk or move during the measurement. Wait for the cuff to deflate fully and the reading to appear.
6. The display will show your systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings. A hypertension indicator will appear if the reading is above the recommended threshold.
7. Press the MEMORY button to review stored readings if needed.
8. For consistent tracking, measure at the same time each day under the same conditions.

Storage and Maintenance

• Store in the included storage pouch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.
• Wipe the device casing with a soft dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or submerge in water.
