The Certeza BM-407 is a fully automatic upper arm blood pressure monitor that delivers accurate, reliable blood pressure and pulse measurements using the oscillometric method. Designed for ease of use at home, it features one-touch operation, a large LCD display, and a comprehensive set of features that go beyond basic monitoring — making it one of the more capable devices in Certeza’s blood pressure range.

The BM-407 supports two users with 2×60 memory spaces (120 readings total), each stored with date and time stamps. It automatically calculates the average of the last 3 readings for a more representative assessment. A WHO hypertension classification indicator provides immediate contextual guidance on each reading, while the irregular heartbeat indicator alerts the user when an irregular pulse pattern is detected during measurement. An error signal alerts users to application errors such as cuff misplacement.

The cuff fits arm circumferences of 22–36 cm. Power is supplied by 4 × AA batteries (included), with an optional AC adapter available. A storage bag and user manual are included in the box.

Usage Instructions

1. Sit quietly for at least 5 minutes before measuring. Sit upright with feet flat on the floor.
2. Wrap the cuff around your left upper arm, 1–2 cm above the elbow. The cuff tubing should run down the inside of the arm.
3. Rest your arm on a flat surface at heart level, palm facing upward.
4. Press the START button once. The cuff inflates and measures automatically.
5. Remain still and do not talk during the measurement. The result will appear on the display.
6. Note the WHO classification indicator alongside your reading. Press MEMORY to review stored results.
7. For consistent tracking, measure at the same time each day under the same conditions.
