2. Wash and dry hands. Use a lancing device to obtain a 0.5 µL blood sample from the fingertip.
3. Touch the sample end of the test strip to the blood drop. The strip draws in the sample by capillary action.
4. Wait 5 seconds for the blood glucose reading to appear on the display.
5. Press the strip ejector button for hygienic disposal of the used strip.
