Usage Instructions
- Wash and dry hands thoroughly before testing.
- Remove one test strip from the vial and reseal the cap immediately.
- Insert the strip into the On Call Extra meter — the meter powers on automatically.
- Use a lancing device to obtain a small blood sample from the fingertip, palm, or forearm.
- Touch the sample tip of the test strip to the edge of the blood drop. The meter beeps when sufficient blood has been absorbed.
- Wait 4 seconds for the glucose reading to appear on the display.
- Record your result if needed. Safely dispose of the used strip.
