1. Insert a UCheck test strip (UC-1001 or UC-5005) into the meter — it powers on automatically.
2. Wash and dry hands. Use the lancing device with an attached lancet to prick the fingertip and obtain a small blood drop.
3. Touch the tip of the test strip to the blood drop. The strip draws in the sample by capillary action.
4. Wait for the blood glucose reading to appear on the meter display within seconds.
